Gala Apple

Its flesh is crisp and juicy with a honeyed, mild flavor and low acidity, holding shape when sliced or baked. It browns at a moderate pace once cut and is sold as whole fruit or in pre-sliced packs for snacks and baking.\n\nBred in New Zealand from Kidd’s Orange Red and Golden Delicious, Gala spread to commercial orchards across North America and Europe.
