Refund Policy

RoughChop subscriptions and refunds

This Refund Policy explains how RoughChop handles refunds for subscriptions and other paid purchases. It applies to purchases made through RoughChop's website and through third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store or Google Play.

1. General policy

  • Except where required by law, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins.
  • Canceling a subscription stops future renewal charges, but does not usually create a refund for the current billing period.
  • RoughChop does not generally provide prorated or partial refunds for unused time.

2. Web purchases

If you purchase RoughChop through the web, billing is handled by the payment provider or checkout platform used for that purchase.

  • Annual plans are billed in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.
  • If you believe you were charged in error, charged more than once, or experienced a technical billing problem, contact RoughChop promptly so the charge can be reviewed.
  • Approved refunds, if any, are returned to the original payment method whenever possible.

3. App Store and Google Play purchases

If you purchased RoughChop through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds are generally handled by the platform where the purchase was made, not directly by RoughChop.

  • Apple App Store purchases are subject to Apple's billing and refund policies.
  • Google Play purchases are subject to Google's billing and refund policies.
  • If a platform requires you to request a refund through its own tools or support flow, you should submit the request there.

4. Duplicate charges and billing errors

RoughChop will review requests involving possible duplicate charges, obvious billing mistakes, or technical checkout issues.

Please include as much detail as you can, such as:

  • The email address on your RoughChop account
  • The date of the charge
  • The amount charged
  • The platform or provider used for the purchase
  • A copy of the receipt or transaction identifier, if available

5. Cancellations

  • You can cancel a subscription at any time through the provider or subscription-management flow available for that purchase.
  • After cancellation, you will generally keep access to paid features until the end of the current paid period unless a refund is issued sooner.
  • Deleting your RoughChop account does not automatically cancel an active subscription with a third-party billing provider or app store.

6. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you believe a charge is unauthorized or incorrect, please contact RoughChop first if possible so the issue can be reviewed. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, RoughChop may limit or suspend access to paid features while the dispute is under review.

7. Policy changes

RoughChop may update this Refund Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, RoughChop will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
