Using RoughChop

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating or using an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
• You must not impersonate another person or use RoughChop in a way that is unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent.

RoughChop provides recipe discovery, recipe storage, recipe imports, OCR-based recipe card processing, pantry and planner tools, and related cooking features. RoughChop may add, change, suspend, or remove features over time.

• You retain responsibility for recipes, notes, reviews, images, and other content you submit to RoughChop.
• When you import a recipe from a URL or image, you represent that you have the right to use that content for your own lawful personal use.
• You are responsible for deciding whether to make your content private, unlisted, or public.
• RoughChop may process your submitted content to provide recipe import, OCR, normalization, search, and organization features.

You agree not to use RoughChop to:

• Break the law or violate the rights of others.
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, or infrastructure.
• Upload malware, harmful code, or abusive content.
• Scrape, overload, or interfere with RoughChop or its service providers.
• Use the service in a way that creates unreasonable operational or financial burden beyond normal intended use.

• Paid RoughChop features may be offered through recurring or non-recurring subscription plans.
• Pricing, feature limits, and plan benefits may change over time.
• If you purchase a subscription, billing is handled by the payment provider or platform used for that purchase.
• Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription through the provider or management flow made available to you.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable after a billing period begins.

RoughChop may limit access to paid features if a subscription expires, is canceled, or payment is not successfully collected.

RoughChop is a recipe and cooking organization service, not a professional nutrition, medical, or food safety service. Imported recipes, OCR output, AI-assisted extraction, times, yields, and labels may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing recipes before cooking, including ingredient suitability, allergens, temperatures, and food safety.

RoughChop, including its branding, design, software, and original site content, is owned by RoughChop or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not give you ownership of RoughChop or its underlying software.

RoughChop may suspend or terminate access to the service if you violate these terms, if your use creates security or abuse concerns, or if RoughChop needs to protect the service, users, or legal interests. You may stop using RoughChop at any time, and you may delete your account through the app where available.

RoughChop is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoughChop disclaims warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoughChop will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the service.

RoughChop may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If material changes are made, RoughChop will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
