Delete your RoughChop account and data

You can delete your RoughChop account from account settings, or you can email a deletion request if you cannot access your account.

How to delete your account

Sign in to RoughChop with the account you want deleted.
Open account settings and find the "Delete account" section.
Type "DELETE" to confirm, then select Delete account.

If you cannot sign in, email roughchop@gmail.com from the email address connected to your RoughChop account and ask for account deletion.

Data deleted

Deleting your account removes associated account data from the active app, including:

Your RoughChop account profile and sign-in records.
Your user recipes, imported recipes, saved collections, favorites, and planner data.
Recipe card uploads, managed upload files, OCR results, notes, reviews, and votes tied to your account.
RoughChop subscription and account event records tied to your account, except records we must keep for legal, billing, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

What may remain

Shared baseline RoughChop catalog recipes are not account data and are not deleted when a user account is deleted. Operational logs, cached copies, backups, and records needed for legal, security, or billing reasons may remain for a limited period before they are removed or aged out under normal retention practices.
