Tomatoe-soy Marinade For Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 15oz can tomato sauce
- 1 medium onion – chopped
- 1 large clove garlic – minced
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 T. cornstarch

Instructions
1. Combine tomato sauce, chopped onion, minced garlic, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, and cornstarch in a saucepan. Cook over moderate heat until the mixture thickens.
2. Remove from heat and let the marinade cool, then pour over chicken and turn to coat thoroughly.
3. Marinate several hours or overnight, turning the chicken occasionally to redistribute the marinade.
