Instructions

1. Rinse the strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, and grapes under cool water, then pat them dry with paper towels.

2. Hull and chop the strawberries into small bite-size pieces.

3. Cut the pineapple into small chunks if not already prepared.

4. Halve the seedless grapes lengthwise so they are easier to scoop and eat.

5. Place the chopped strawberries, blueberries, pineapple chunks, and grape halves in a large mixing bowl and gently toss to combine.

6. In a medium bowl, add the plain Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, fresh orange juice, fresh lime juice, and ground cinnamon.

7. Whisk the yogurt mixture until smooth and evenly combined, tasting and adjusting sweetness with a little more honey if desired.

8. Set out 6 small clear cups or bowls for serving.

9. Spoon a layer of the mixed fruit into the bottom of each cup, filling them about halfway.

10. Add a generous spoonful of the yogurt dip over the fruit in each cup, spreading it gently to cover the fruit.

11. Top each cup with another layer of mixed fruit, dividing the remaining fruit evenly among the cups.

12. Add a final spoonful of the yogurt dip on top of each cup.

13. Sprinkle granola over the top of each fruit and yogurt dip cup for topping (for serving).

14. Serve the fruit and yogurt dip cups immediately, or cover and chill them in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours before serving.

A Fruit and Yogurt Dip Cup is a light, refreshing snack built in individual servings, combining juicy fresh fruit with a creamy, lightly sweetened yogurt layer. The fruit brings natural sweetness and varied textures, from crisp grapes to tender berries, while the yogurt adds a tangy, silky contrast. A sprinkle of granola or similar topping adds crunch, making each cup feel both satisfying and wholesome.

Individually portioned fruit and yogurt combinations grew popular alongside the rise of parfaits and grab-and-go breakfast cups in North America. They evolved from classic fruit-and-dip party platters and from layered yogurt parfaits commonly found in diners and cafes. Over time, home cooks adapted these ideas into portable cups that work for school snacks, brunch buffets, and light desserts, keeping the core idea of fresh fruit and cultured dairy at the center.
