Strawberry Mango Smoothie

Instructions

1. Slice the ripe banana into coins and set aside.

2. Add the frozen strawberries, frozen mango chunks, sliced banana, plain Greek yogurt, and orange juice to a blender in that order.

3. Add the honey and ice cubes on top of the fruit and yogurt.

4. Blend on low speed to start breaking up the frozen fruit, then increase to high speed and blend until completely smooth and creamy, 45–90 seconds, stopping once or twice to scrape down the sides if needed.

5. Check the consistency; if it is too thick to pour, blend in a small splash of additional orange juice, or if it is too thin, add a few more frozen fruit pieces and blend again until smooth.

6. Taste and adjust sweetness with a little more honey if desired, blending briefly to combine.

7. Pour the strawberry mango smoothie into two chilled glasses and serve immediately while cold and thick.

Strawberry Mango Smoothie is a bright, fruity blended drink that combines the sweetness of ripe strawberries with the tropical richness of mango. The addition of banana and yogurt gives it a creamy, milkshake-like texture without feeling heavy. It is refreshing, lightly tangy from the fruit and yogurt, and naturally sweet enough to enjoy as a breakfast, snack, or light dessert.

Historically, fruit smoothies became popular in the United States in the late 20th century, influenced by health food movements and juice bar culture. Strawberry and mango emerged as a favorite pairing because their complementary flavors blend into a balanced, vibrant drink. Today, this combination is common in cafés and home kitchens around the world, often seen as a simple way to enjoy a variety of fruit in one glass.
