  1. 1. In a bowl, mix the mashed avocados, lime juice, and thinly sliced green onion.
  2. 2. Blend in the sour cream, Del El Paso taco sauce, and salt; chill the avocado dressing.
  3. 3. Heat the refried beans in the cooking oil until warmed through, then stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  4. 4. Heat the tostada shells. On each heated shell, divide and spread the beans, then top with shredded lettuce and chopped tomato.
  5. 5. Spoon the avocado dressing over each tostada salad and top with avocado slices.
