Ingredients
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 1 cup raw cashews
- 1 cup walnut halves
- 0.75 cup shelled roasted peanuts
- 0.5 cup sunflower seeds
- 0.75 cup dried cranberries
- 0.75 cup raisins
- 0.5 cup dried apricots – chopped
- 0.5 cup dried cherries
- 0.75 cup dark chocolate chips
- 0.5 tsp fine sea salt
Instructions
- Place the almonds, cashews, walnut halves, shelled roasted peanuts, and sunflower seeds into a large mixing bowl.
- Add the dried cranberries, raisins, chopped dried apricots, and dried cherries to the bowl with the nuts and seeds.
- Sprinkle the dark chocolate chips over the nut and dried fruit mixture.
- Add the fine sea salt to the bowl.
- Use a large spoon or your clean hands to gently toss the mixture until the nuts, dried fruits, chocolate chips, and salt are evenly distributed.
- Taste the trail mix and adjust the seasoning with a pinch more fine sea salt if desired, tossing again to combine.
- Transfer the trail mix to an airtight container or divide it into small resealable bags for individual portions.
- Store the trail mix at cool room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or refrigerate for slightly longer shelf life, and serve as needed.
