- 1 pounds strawberries – rinsed, hulled, halved if large
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 cups heavy cream
Instructions
- Pat the strawberries dry, hull them, and halve any large berries.
- Toss the strawberries with the granulated sugar in a bowl and let macerate until glossy and a light syrup forms, 15–30 minutes.
- Pour the heavy cream into a cold mixing bowl and whisk until it thickens to a soft, pourable consistency that leaves brief ribbons, 1–3 minutes.
- Spoon the macerated strawberries and their juices into bowls and drizzle the softly thickened cream over the top.
- Serve immediately.
