  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the old-fashioned rolled oats, chia seeds, and fine salt.
  2. In a measuring cup, whisk the whole milk, plain yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Pour the liquid over the oat mixture and stir until evenly moistened. Let sit 5 minutes, then stir again to prevent clumping.
  4. Divide into two containers, cover, and refrigerate 6–12 hours, until the oats are tender and the mixture is creamy.
  5. Stir and serve cold. Top with fresh berries and nuts (chopped) for serving.
