
Ham Sandwich

Ingredients
- 2 slices tomato – thinly sliced
- 2 leaves lettuce – patted dry
- 2 slices sandwich bread
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 4 ounces ham – thinly sliced
- 0.25 tsp black pepper – freshly ground
- pickles – for serving
Instructions
- Rinse the lettuce leaves and pat dry. Cut 2 thin slices from the tomato.
- Lay out the 2 slices of sandwich bread. Spread mayonnaise on one slice and Dijon mustard on the other.
- Fold and layer the 4 ounces of ham evenly over the mayonnaise-coated slice.
- Add the tomato slices on top of the ham and season with the black pepper.
- Place the lettuce leaves over the tomatoes, then close the sandwich with the mustard-coated slice, pressing lightly.
- Cut in half if desired and serve immediately with pickles.
