
Cucumber Water

Ingredients
- 12 ounces cucumber – thinly sliced
- 8 cups water
- ice cubes – for serving
Instructions
- Rinse and trim the cucumber, then thinly slice; reserve a few slices for serving.
- Put the remaining slices in a large pitcher and add the water.
- Cover and refrigerate 2–12 hours until the water smells fragrant and tastes crisp; 2 hours yields a light flavor, 4–8 hours a fuller infusion.
- Strain out the solids once infused (no later than 12 hours) to avoid bitterness, then return the liquid to the pitcher and keep chilled.
- Fill glasses with the ice cubes, pour, and add the reserved slices. Serve cold.
