
Chocolate Milk

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 0.125 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups whole milk
- 0.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, whisk the cocoa powder, sugar, and salt with 0.5 cup of the milk until completely smooth with no dry pockets.
- Set over medium-low heat and cook, whisking constantly, until the mixture is steaming and the sugar is dissolved, 1–2 minutes; do not boil.
- Remove from heat and whisk in the remaining 1.5 cups milk and the vanilla extract until evenly mixed.
- Chill until cold, 20–30 minutes, then stir and serve. If serving right away, stir well and pour over a cold glass to keep it cool.
