Banana And Peanut Butter Roll Ups
Chop Rating: —/5
Ingredients
- 4 piece soft flour tortilla – 8–10 inch size
- 0.5 cup peanut butter – creamy, well stirred
- 2 piece banana – ripe but firm, peeled
- 1 tablespoon honey – optional
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon – optional
Instructions
- Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean work surface.
- Spread about 2 tablespoons of peanut butter evenly over each tortilla, leaving a small 0.5-inch border around the edges.
- Drizzle a light amount of honey over the peanut butter on each tortilla if using, then lightly sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
- Cut each banana in half crosswise so you have 4 short pieces in total.
- Place one banana piece along the edge of each tortilla closest to you.
- Roll each tortilla up tightly around the banana, tucking the sides slightly as you go to help keep the filling inside.
- Place each roll seam-side down and use a sharp knife to slice into bite-size rounds, about 1 inch thick, or leave whole as a handheld roll up.
- Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate for up to 4 hours before serving.
